Rental Agreement & Terms

Beach Butler RI ("we," "us") rents beach equipment to you ("customer") on a short-term basis for personal recreational use. All rentals are subject to availability and these terms.

We deliver gear to your rental, hotel, vacation home, or curbside address within our service zones (Newport, Middletown, Portsmouth). Delivery windows are provided at booking; we will text you when your gear has been dropped off.

Gear placement on public beach sand is offered where permitted and at our discretion. We do not guarantee on-sand placement at any public or state beach where commercial vendor permits are required.

You must ensure a safe, accessible delivery location. If we cannot complete a delivery due to access issues, no refund will be issued for that delivery fee.

Full payment is due at the time of booking. We accept major credit and debit cards via Square. A card is saved on file for any damage or loss charges assessed after your rental.

You are responsible for returning gear in the same condition it was delivered. Normal wear is expected. You will be charged for:

• Lost or stolen items:replacement cost
• Damage beyond normal wear:repair or replacement cost
• Excessive cleaning required:$25 per item minimum

Charges will be applied to the card on file. We will notify you before charging for any damage or loss.

Rain policy: If it rains on your delivery date, you may reschedule at no charge. Contact us before your scheduled delivery window.

Cancellations: Cancel at least 48 hours before your delivery for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking due to severe weather, equipment issues, or circumstances beyond our control. A full refund will be issued in such cases.

Gear may not be used for commercial purposes, subletting, or resale. Gear must remain within the delivery zone and may not be transported off-island without prior written consent.

Beach Butler RI is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property while using our rental equipment. You use all gear at your own risk. We carry liability insurance as required by Rhode Island law.
